Teacher-Space recognizes that too often working in education can be an isolating experience. Educators need and deserve recognition from a rich, positive, and thriving community. Who better to lift teachers up and encourage them to continue in their good work? Other teachers. This site is not an online community as much as it is

- a call to action,
- a way to change the landscape of education and
- a way to broaden the support available to educators locally, nationally, and globally.
So often educators often go above and beyond what is required. For example, teachers dedicate many hours after school to lesson prepping, tutoring, or extracurricular supervision. Teachers also put extra measures of creativity and inspiration into the day's lessons. Teachers give personal time to make parent phone calls, or contribute to student and staff clubs. Teacher-Space is the online community for educators that celebrates all the extras! In fact, we have a two-fold mission that is articulated around celebrating the extras that educators dedicate to their students, schools, parents, communities, and each other.
